Introducing Flex Payment: A New Way to Start Buying Calls with ELC

FlexPayment by Exclusive Live Calls for buying qualified Pay Per Call leads

FlexPayment gives ELC buyers a more flexible way to start with a new Pay Per Call partner, without funding an account before they’ve had the chance to see how the traffic actually performs.

We wanted to make that process more flexible.

FlexPayment is a new payment option available to ELC buyers that allows you to start receiving qualified calls without making an upfront deposit.

Once your account is set up, you can start with a $250 credit limit, use that credit as qualified calls come in, and settle your balance every seven days or when you reach your limit.

Over time, buyers with a consistent payment history can qualify for higher limits.

Here’s how it works.

First, You Need an ELC Buyer Account

FlexPayment is part of the Exclusive Live Calls Buyer Portal, so you’ll need to complete our standard buyer onboarding before you can apply.

Once our team approves and verifies your account, you’ll have access to the ELC dashboard.

From there, you can go directly to the FlexPayment section and complete the application.

If you’re not currently an ELC buyer, you can start the process here:

Getting Started with FlexPayment

Once you have access to FlexPayment, add a valid payment card to get started.

We place a temporary $1 verification charge on the card to make sure it’s valid. We return the $1 after verifying your card.

Once we verify your card, you’ll start with a $250 credit limit.

One thing that’s worth clarifying here: the $250 isn’t money deposited into your account.

It’s your available credit for purchasing calls.

So instead of depositing $250 before receiving traffic, you can begin receiving qualified calls, and the cost of those calls reduces your available credit.

What Happens When Calls Start Coming In?

Let’s say your account has the standard $250 starting limit.

As you receive qualified calls, their cost reduces your available credit.

If you receive $100 in qualified calls, you still have $150 available before reaching your limit.

If you reach the full $250, we charge the balance to the card on file. Once we successfully process the payment, your credit becomes available again and you can continue receiving calls.

You don’t necessarily have to use the entire $250 before making a payment, though.

FlexPayment settles every seven days or when your credit limit is reached, whichever happens first.

So if seven days pass and you’ve used $180 of your available credit, we settle the $180 balance at that point.

You’re Paying for Qualified Calls

This is an important distinction.

ELC campaigns use specific qualification criteria to determine whether a call qualifies as billable. Depending on the campaign, those criteria can include factors such as consumer intent, service requested, GEO, campaign requirements, and call duration.

Duration alone doesn’t always determine whether a call is qualified.

For example, a consumer who calls looking for an estimate, asking about service availability, or discussing a project may demonstrate clear intent without necessarily having a long conversation.

On the other hand, our Billable Call Guidelines address spam, wrong numbers, fraudulent traffic, and calls that don’t meet the applicable campaign requirements.

The important thing is to understand the qualification criteria for your campaign before you start receiving volume.

What If You Have a Question About a Call?

You’ll be able to see your call activity from your ELC account.

If you believe a call doesn’t meet the qualification criteria, you can request a review within the applicable seven-day review period.

Our team can review the available call information and determine whether it meets the campaign requirements and our Billable Call Guidelines.

This is also why we recommend buyers actually review their calls, especially during the first few weeks of a campaign.

The numbers tell part of the story. Listening to the calls gives you much better context about the traffic you’re receiving.

Your $250 Limit Can Increase

The starting limit is $250, but it doesn’t necessarily stay there.

FlexPayment looks at your payment history. As you make payments on time, your available credit can increase automatically.

Level Credit Limit Payment History
Starter $250 Starting limit
Established $500 4 on-time payments
Proven $1,000 8 additional payments
Preferred $1,500 20 additional payments
Elite $2,500 100 additional payments

The reason for increasing the limit is practical.

At the beginning, $250 may be enough to test a campaign and understand the traffic. But if you begin taking more calls or running multiple campaigns, you’ll go through that credit much faster.

A higher limit gives established buyers more room to operate between payments.

Why We Introduced FlexPayment

When you start buying calls from a new source, there are still things you need to learn once the campaign goes live.

What does the consumer intent look like? How are the calls converting? Which GEOs are performing better? How much volume can your team actually handle?

Those questions are easier to answer once you have real calls to work with.

FlexPayment gives eligible buyers a way to start with a smaller commitment and build from actual performance.

If the traffic makes sense for your business and the relationship works on both sides, you can continue building your payment history, increase your available credit, and take more volume as needed.

FlexPayment in Simple Terms

No upfront deposit.

Add and verify your card.

Start with $250 in available credit.

Receive and review qualified calls.

Pay every seven days or when you reach your credit limit.

Make your payments on time and your limit can eventually increase to $2,500.

That’s really the idea behind FlexPayment.
